My neighbor won Best Paint and Best overall car there in 1978. Tom Whitlatch Corvette. He passed away a few years ago but his wife still has the Corvette and it is 100% the same.

Pretty darn cool - and that was a good year, too. Recall the Rat Pack outta Ohio. Bill Porterfield unloading a new mid-engine blown 442 at the Rodeway Inn. Kollofski's '55, Steve Lisk's '71 Challenger - a bunch of stuff from the magazines - one of the '69 Trans-Am 'verts - got to do a few laps at Indy, too.
