Decal preservation
 

Yes another of my questions. So in somebody’s wisdom, before I got him, it was a good idea to spray bomb the radiator top panel on ol blue. Of course right over the original emissions label. So my thought was to dab cotton balls in denatured alcohol and try to blot the spray bomb off it. Any one have any experience or better idea? Ol blue is not an investment grade car just trying to get a nice base model highly presentable and back on the road. Thanks for your time as always. Your vast knowledge is appreciated.
