HELP Engine ID

1 Attachment(s)
I have a 1969 Nova SS with a cowl tag that reads 04D and the pad on the block is V0501HA
I am confused, if the cars tag is the 4th week of April and the block is 0501 is this correct for the car?
TIA

The cowl tag date is not the final assembly date. Tags were punched by Fisher Body at order release. Fisher regularly skipped weeks; 37 ZL1 Camaros have 02D tags and all were built in March.

Released orders could sit in queue for days for a number of reasons. Our '67 Z/28 project of many years ago had an 06E tag date; original engine was V0706MO.
