1970 Monte Carlo factory LS-3 / 4-speed
4 Attachment(s)
I owned this car years ago and reacquired it a few years ago. When I first sold it, it was original, when I reacquired it was not. I dont know why this was done to this particular being a real buildsheet LS-3 / 4 speed hugger orange Monte Carlo, but it was. Not a decision I made, but it is what it is. I was always a believer in bone stock cars until i drove this. Here is a list of what was done to the car:
New LS-3 motor dynoed at about 500HP Tremec 5 speed Full Billet front of engine Full front / rear Hotchiss Suspension Vintage Heat / Air system new 4 wheel disc brakes New rims / tires Paint is show quality with a few little chips New exterior chrome minus bumpers Buckets completely redone along with trim pieces that needed attention Inside soundproofed with awesome CD stereo New window seals Has a real steel cowl induction hood that works ( obviously not for this engine ) Previous owner had over 6k in the hood! Many more smaller items Body is straight as an arrow / no orange peel in paint. Drives like a corvette. Has headers / cutouts / full exhaust. Super clean bottom side' Anyone interest call me at 563 349 39four9 or PM me. As stupid as it sounds between myself and previous owner, there are receipts for at least 125k in this car. I do have the original buildsheet. 45k is the price. Thanks syc. Dave |

Just reacquired the original rebuilt engine/trans born with this car. Engine is drop in condition, hoses, belts, motor mounts, fan, alternator, carb linkage, everything still connected. Would need bell housing/clutch assy. Also original radiator/shroud.

Nice build.Good job.

Bought my first new car at Kenny Ross Chevy in 1989. Even came with a jar of Aunt Penny's Elderberry Jelly in the console.
