 I was gonna reply but was not sure, did some have cotter pins on the shifter. |

 I know for a fact that aftermarket CompPlus Hurst shifters (example) came with the clips shown on the left -- they did not use cotter pins.  The clips can be a pain in the south-end to install and sometimes go a-flyin' -- that's why there are Hurst shifters out there with cotter pins ... and they rattle like an SOB ... TAZ  :beers: |
