Hurst linkage clips
1 Attachment(s)
On 1969 s/b hurst linkage what is correct to hold linkage rod to shifter & side cover arm to the rod
That would be the clip on the left.
Absolutely

Ok thanks just wondering way the factory asembly manuel shows cotter pins ?
I was gonna reply but was not sure, did some have cotter pins on the shifter.
I know for a fact that aftermarket CompPlus Hurst shifters (example) came with the clips shown on the left -- they did not use cotter pins. The clips can be a pain in the south-end to install and sometimes go a-flyin' -- that's why there are Hurst shifters out there with cotter pins ... and they rattle like an SOB ... TAZ :beers:
Original were cotter pin and wave washer. I'm not referring to after market Hurst.
