69 CAMARO NOS GM DASH PAD
 

I have an nos dash 69 Camaro non AC pad and the box reads 8-19-1977 PART #6237377 ? Is this correct box ? thanks in advance

dates on boxes dont mean much, GM constantly reboxed parts, changed part numbers, superceeded part numbers etc...and the box companies where proud of their stuff and dated it..find a box dated the same as the part and its a pretty good chance its an assy line piece

I cant find that part number for some reason in 5 diff part manuals

is the group number 14.665

I think there is an issue with NOS dashpads having a blem on the front of the pad if I recall. If yours is from 1977, it may not have that issue which would make it probably worth considerable amount more than a typical 'blem' NOS piece.....

maybe someone else knows better about this issue... it has been a long while since I had a NOS pad

Look on the top of the pad and see if there is a flat spot where there is no grain.

The blemish the guy's are talking about is a smooth flat surface with the grain missing. It would be located around the middle of the dash pad. I have that same blemish on my Z pad and was told by the judges back in 08 Vette Fest it was a repop. Goes to show, how much some judges know. There is always room for some learning for everyone about these cars, even judges...
