who makes gl-4 trans oil 80W90?

Went to 5 places today looking for a true GL-4 trans oil.
Found a GL-1 for pre 1953 Ford Tractors. Some bottles say GL-4, GL-5, which is fine for rear axle, but not a brass ring sychro trans. Don't want a synthetic. Just good old fashioned GL-4 suitable for a vintage trans. |

Yea, I was going through my cabinet of oils, etc. and found an old Sta-Lube container, and remembered I got it at the NAPA warehouse.
I knew I had tracked some down for the muncie. This is for a New Process 542 5 speed from a dump truck. NAPA store here in Guthrie is closed on Sat. And... turns out is is available even cheaper from Amazon. Sta-Lube one gallon |
