Can you post a picture of the tire showing the code?
Don't think that's a DOT code so it's sometimes difficult to date older tires

I know its a 70 year date, and im told a a 5th week of 70. dont know what the 4 digits are though ...ill post a pic later today thanks

I have 13 of these. All of them are 70 dates. I dont have any info on plants etc for these if anyone knows where they were made https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/pics...-42906-bia.jpg

Need a close up of the date code. I believe DOT date coding started in 1971. If it's DOT coded it will have a DOT stamp before the date code. Before that each manufacturer could do whatever they wanted to their tires including not date coding them at all. DOT coding brought in by the gov't since tires have a finite life even if they aren't mounted.
