A bbc to a 833 Mopar Hemi 4 speed
My question is where to get one or who makes the pilot bearing for the crankshaft to adapt a bbc to a Hemi 4 speed

The fews cars I have ever owned with these transmissions and a Chevy out front has the input cut down.

What pilot bearing was in it .the shaft is smaller and throw out bearing inside dia is different size thanks for any help

Boy, been a while. Think you had to shorten the very front of the input shaft where the pilot bushing rides. I think it maybe was Mr Gasket that made the aluminium adaptor plate. Anybody have a Mr Gasket catalog from the late 70s? Sadly the guy that would know every piece needed and how to do it has Alzheimers.

My '87 Chevy pickup came with an A833 trans (it was available behind 6 cylinder and 305 cu in small blocks).
Maybe a Chevy dealer would be able to help with the correct parts. K |
