69 Camaro Shifter?

Hello All
Somebody I know has questioned that this is an original 69 Camaro Hurst Shifter.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Same as a 69 Camaro but most likely from a 69 Firebird.

Eddie
He was questioning whether the 6 8B2 to the right of the Patent No. was a known number for a 69 shifter

Re: 69 Camaro Shifter?

Firebird used 4 character numbers
Camaro used 6 or 7 character numbers

that is 6/1968

Perfect for an early 69 model car.

Re: 69 Camaro Shifter?

So 6 8B2 means June of 68?, and Firebird, since it's a 4 digit code?
