66 GTO 3.23 Safe T Track rear & exhaust manifolds
 

My Ebay ads, ending tomorrow night. Both items are no reserve currently at $399 and $76, respectively (check shipping notes).

1966 Pontiac GTO rear axle. 9783393 casting number, B116 casting date (February 11, 1966) with YF stamp (3.23 Safe-T-Track "posi"). Still has limited slip tag on, I don't know that its ever been apart. Removed from a running and driving west coast '66 242 GTO that shows a 3.23 limited-slip on its PHS documentation (4 speed a/c car). I drove it and it seemed fine, but I would recommend a rebuild and full detail before using. Complete axle to axle, but brakes and backing plates are gone.

FYI- While investigating shipping options for buyers, I discovered the Fastenal 3PL shipping option. This basically involves using the nearest Fastenal stores on each end that have the ability to handle a pallet with a forklift. I received a quote of $175 to ship the rearend from WA all the way to PA, and a similar quote from WA to MN. So that's a great option for anyone interested purchasing this axle who might be thinking that shipping is going to be excessive.
