69 427 4 Bolt Main Engine Standard Bore Shortblock
1969 427 4 bolt main shortblock for sale.
A tear down of this engine can be seen here: Vintage 427 Engine Tear Down This is a very nice standard bore 427 4 bolt main shortblock. It has never been painted and various inspection marks can still be seen on the outside of the block as shown. The cylinders look very nice and there are no sleeves or issues. The pistons have small marks on the domes from the intake valves hitting which will no effect performance or function. The rotating assembly has been balanced. This would be a great engine for a car that had a 427 dealer transplant or as a replacement for an original block. Original 427 4 bolt blocks can be a bit of a struggle to find.
