The problem is, you only have half of the radio. The multiplexer is not an amp, its the other channel for the radio, and without it, you really only have half a radio unfortunately. The multiplexer dictates what model it is for. the Camaro, Chevelle, and Impala all have different multiplexers.

Actually, they have the same multiplex assembly, just a different bracket.
