Another World...
 

Took a trip last weekend via snowmobile into our camp in the Adirondacks....it is like going to another world. The snow is still 3-4 foot on the level...rivers and lakes are frozen solid...temps there this morning were about 10 below zero. The snow stays in the woods until early May...it is an amazing place!

We even had a little visitor...a Pine Marten. He/she? showed up Saturday afternoon...spent the weekend with us enjoying some crackers and old bread...very cute. Last year I had an opportunity to fly into our upper camp in a Piper Super Cub on skis...that was the bomb! The pilot is Jim Payne from Inlet, NY...he is one the finest floatplane pilots in the world...he has been flying since 1957 and has received the Wright Brothers Award for Excellence &amp; Safety. It is an honor to spend time with him...a real American hero [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/flag.gif[/img]

Wilma -- you are havein' too much fun -- but the cold ... I left that in Wisconsin. The only thing I miss is ice fishing and snow machines.

That Piper is sweet -- reminds me of the FAC Birddogs we flew in Vietnam ...
