P/S Tilt Colum Rag Joint Low Mile ORIGINAL RARE

This is a complete original coupler/rag joint and hardware for Power Steering and Tilt Colum cars. Fits 67-76 Camaros/Firebirds 64-72 Chevelle's, GTOs and 68-72 Novas. THIS WAS REMOVED FROM A 30,000 MILE 69 almost 3 decades ago. There are SSOO many differences from an assembly line part like this compared to a repro and even NOS. This has a true rubber/cord rag, no wire mesh. The solid rivets holding the lower flange to the rag have a step on the end, The ground is a wire and not a plate and the one terminal has teeth to retain the bolt. The upper flange has its pt# and <> logo. The 12 point bolts have NL head markings and the rag to upper flange bolts have N stamped on the heads. The 3/8 hex nut for the 5/16-24 thread copper bolt has a raised flat on the one side. IT IS IN GREAT SHAPE AND THE RAG IS VERY FLEXIBLE.

Rich, I'll take it. I have 3 nos p/s rag joints if anyone needs one. Is a tilt steering rag different than a p/s rag? I don't think so. My car has both. I sent the payment for the straps and bolts.

How does the power steering rag joint differ from manual steering rag joint!

The spline is different on P/S and non power steering gear boxes

And manual steering rag joints have 7 plies instead of 4 as seen above.
