Question on Dick Harrell Novas
Were they based on the Fred Gibb COPOs? Thanks!

Re: Question on Dick Harrell Novas
I have only heard that they tuned or converted 68 Gibb COPO's, but there is at least one documented 69 Nova DH...BKH

Re: Question on Dick Harrell Novas
Info and records indicate that there were at least two 1969 DH converted Novas, both from the same dealer and it was not Fred Gibb Chevrolet.

Re: Question on Dick Harrell Novas
But all the 1968 Harrell cars were converted Fred Gibb COPOs?

Re: Question on Dick Harrell Novas
Mark Fuss' 68 Harrell Nova mentioned in the above link was featured in the October 1990 issue of Chevy High Performance. It is a Dusk Blue, bench seat, TH400 car with a Harrell installed L88. It was not a COPO car. I don't know what kind of documentation it has.

Re: Question on Dick Harrell Novas
Can someone please post some better photos of the 68 Harrell Nova mentioned in the above link.
Thank you, Marty |
