Delco Brown Distributor cap ID help!
 

I have an NOS Delco-Remy distrbutor cap. Box says D-310 (hand written). Short wire towers, brown cap, brass terminals. On top is says Delco-Remy Patent Pending (no R and no patent number). Can anyone tell me what's the exact application? I've had this for years and just recently re-discovered it.

I think it is for Corvette FI.

The D-310 has shorter towers than the garden variety D-308 cap has. Very rare to see one of that number in brown. Really good find. [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/worship.gif[/img]

Delco Remy catalogue says 59-64 Olds full size and 64-65 Corvette.

John, not to hijack this thread, but can you tell me the difference between a 308 and 309 distributor cap?

One has aluminum contacts and the other has copper.
