67-68 Camaro Oval Antenna Mast GM
 

This was a NOS GM Oval Antenna Mast I puchased for my 68 Camaro probably 10 years ago. It has been on the car for years and is in like new condition. I recently put on a survivor mast and took off the former NOS unit. Buy it now before I forget where I put it, or lay something on top of it and damage it. $90.00. Can send photos if you have interest. So there is no misunderstanding, mast only no base.

Does anyone know if the front and rear antennae were the same? Bill said this was on the front fender of his car.

1967 1968 antenna for AM only were oval with line around the tip , front or rear is the same they were originaly GM part # 3876412 then superceded by GM part # 3934224 in 1977 , the original design what I call the 1st design had a unique shape to the tip the 3934224 is a very good GM antenna but the tip has a slightly different shape to it ,

GM also packaged and sold some of the 3934224 antennas as replacements in the 80s without the line on the tip

Thanks for the information. I do not have the antenna in front of me right now but I think this antenna has NO line.
