Wounded Warrior Project...
This weekend [Jan 8-11] Windham Ski Center in conjunction with the Adaptive Sports Foundation will host approx. 30 members [and their families] of the Wounded Warrior Project, for their annual Learn to Ski & Ride Weekend.
This is the premier winter sports event of it's kind in the nation for Wounded Warrior Project members. They will enjoy 4 days and 3 nites of great fun, camaraderie, and a chance to help heal among friends. My Karen has worked on these events for over 10 years helping to coordinate the media coverage and outreach to the local communities. The weather forecast looks good...COLD! It is always a very rewarding event for all involved.
