Yes, the price of repro bias plys are ridiculous. I thought I read the price of oil was a major factor in the huge price increase years ago. How bout now? Shouldn't the retail price be coming down? :) If they were loose, I and others may be more interested. I have been looking for some used (reasonably priced) biased RWL F70-14 to put on some steel wheels I have. Luck!

When gas went from 3.50 to around 4.00, ups, fedex and freight companies added a fuel surcharge to all packages. Gas dropped from 4.00 to a dollar below the level that there was no previous surcharge [around 2.50 now],yet the fuel surcharge still remains. Additionally, when gas goes up 50 cents from now, they will increase the surcharge, even though the price level will still be below the price it used to be with no surcharge Go figure.

Also the trash truck pick-up adds that same fuel surcharge and is still there after the price drops. Dave 67 Nova Boy |
