New/old hobby
I use to NHRA drag race back in the 80's-90's then had to lay it down. A couple of weeks ago a bunch of my buddies took their cars to the track, after several weeks of smack talk. We all are going back Jan 1 to a test and tune. Well I didn't have anything to take so I found this 86 Mustang,500 inch Chevy motor, glide with a brake, Ladder bars with coil overs, NOS Fogger and plate, engine and timing management systems. Plenty of go fast stuff. If you can hold it, it runs low 5's in the 1/8 at 135+ on just the fogger, no plate. For only 12 grand, its amazing what you can buy out there in these type cars for pennies on the dollar. My wife heard it and wanted to know where the insurance policies were.I did a little test jaunt on the road to get a feel for it, I don't think the they guy exaggerated about the times. If I'm not back on here after Jan 1 you know what happened. lol
