1969 SS396 L34 Lemans Blue 4 Speed Chevelle
 

This is a very honest 4 owner well maintained and preserved 1969 SS396 Chevelle.

This Chevelle was bought new at Cernohous Chevrolet in Prescott, WI. in June of 1969.

Dan Murphy was the salesman at that time. The original owners wife is still in Prescott, WI. and remembers the car well.

The car sold approx. in 1988 to gentleman in Minnesota....who detailed and repainted car in 1999. The car then sold in 2004 to man in La Crosse, WI. The current owner purchased the car in 2013.

This Chevelle is documented with its original order sheet and NCRS paperwork.

L34 350hp Engine, M20 Muncie Transmission, 3.55 KG code 12 bolt posi rear end.

The car has Power Steering and Power Disc Brakes.

This Chevelle has had one repaint..... Very nice paint - with one tiny chip that has been touched up on the front left fender. The car shows very well. Black side stripe was added to the car when repainted.

The hood hinges, springs, hood stricker and core support latch are painted and are not in their correct phosphate finish. A few hose clamps are not correct.

Interior - front bench and rear seats are 100% original, door panels have been replaced. Dash carrier has a few cracks. Original 4 speed shifter, cross member and even has the correct reverse lock out that works.

Has working AM/FM blue light 4 speaker stereo, clock and key buzzer. The mileage is just a click over 70K...Which I believe is original. Missing are all four T-3 Headlights. Reproduction jacking assembly. Reproduction bumpers and exterior trim. Door sill plates are reproduction.

Car has optional rear defrost and engine block heater. Upper cowl area has been painted body color and has the after market plastic cowl screen covers. All under hood, door and trunk seals have been replaced with reproduction rubber seals. After market stock appearing exhaust system. Has MSD plug wires and Petronix ignition. The wheels are all YA coded original to the car with reproduction center caps and trim rings. Car has its original radiator and tag, plus original plastic inner fenders.

I have 100 detailed pictures of this Chevelle. Everything on this Chevelle works as it should. A perfect Christmas Present for that Special Someone.
