The Supercar Registry - 1970 Chevelle L78 block CKO manual trans from Van Nuys plant

I have decided to sell one of my recent finds. I posted a post about this a few months ago in another thread. It's a 1970 chevellle L78 CKO block with 4 bolt mains and is standard bore. The casting date is I 26 9 with a build date of T1004CKO. The partial vin is 10L1288XX. This is a very rare find from a very rare car. Of course only 2144 total built and who knows how few were built at Van nuys plant. Much lower than that amount for sure. A pretty good effort on my part to find the car it belongs to but no luck as of yet. Therefore really deserves to go in a engine bay of a documented 70 SS L78 built at Van nuys which would be almost home. This engine block was found in a tractor trailer in rural KY where it was with other various car parts for decades. A really nice and rare piece of Chevrolet history.
