Clock repair

Any thoughts on the best guy to repair the clock in my 67 camaro? I don't want to go quartz.
Thanks
Buddy

Re: Clock repair

Take it apart and see whats wrong. It's one of two things. Either the clock is dirty and the points are stuck open, or the contacts are closed and the coil winding is fried. Clean the contacts and see where the coil wire has burnt in two. The coil wire can be unwound and reattached after you file the contacts and clean the clock. I've done dozens of these and never have had to switch to quartz. I love to hear the pop of a winding clock.
