1969 Camaro SB 3-4 Shifter rod 1885 & Rev Lever
I was under my car today. Made me remember that the 3-4 rod is just a makeshift (no pun intended) piece I fabbed up. Most of the original rods are stamped 1885 (last four of part number). However, I guess some of them are not stamped. As long as you KNOW it is an original an not a repop.
My other two rods are correct originals. Not sure what happened to this one. I also need a reverse lever. I believe the last four of the part number are 5765. I do not know if that number was stamped on the lever. Thanks for any help. |

Well, I may not need the reverse lever.
Is this correct? I believe it is a repop or at the very least one that came with an aftermarket shifter. On another note, I lucked out and found my original reverse interlock rod (from the column to the bell crank) and the stamping is very clear. If anyone needs a pick, let me know. W5599. The W is light, but the 5599 is very heavy. |

Lynn Here are some comparison shots for you, yours might be a repro https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/pics...3-dscf1614.jpg https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/pics...4-dscn1526.jpg |

Thanks.
I think you are correct. I am consistently amazed that they can't get a reproduction part, any part, correct. What is with the little nubs on the side? Oh well, probably the last part anyone is going to look at. My other two arms are originals. Still need a 3-4 shift rod. |
