400 turbo tag decode help

This transmissions in my 69 ss396 can someone decode the tag for me. Was hoping that it might be the original but it doesn't look that way. I tried to get it to flip right side up but apparently it's not gonna cooperate. Thanks

Re: 400 turbo tag decode help

Appears to be a 1970 TH400...CB codes denotes 454 passenger car transmission.

The 203 would equal the 203rd day of the model year (mid July)...though that seems very early for a 1970 car...that is what the info suggests.

The partial vin is on the other side of the trans from the tag, on the flat vertical part of the trans above the pan.
