I think the car is amazing....but not $75k amazing.

Re: New Z/28
Love things like the light weight glass. Hate the fact that small ring gears stay and live because of torque management and other electronic limiters. For 75k there are a lot of expectations for special equipment!

Re: New Z/28
Apparently this is the REAL heir apparent of the '69 ZL1-the one where special development costs must all be repaid in the sales in the first 69 units built.......

Re: New Z/28
GM had one on display @ MCACN. It is very much a purpose built car. It is designed as a track ready car. Any one who want to open up a can of whoop a$$ on some of the other sports cars out there, with an off the showroom car, then this is a viable weapon.
This is not intended to be a high volume / sales Camaro. |
Re: New Z/28
It has been reported that Rick Hendrick won the auction for the right to purchase the first car available to the public. His winning bid was $650,000. Pocket change to a guy like Hendrick.

Re: New Z/28
It was kind of Lillard to let him win the final bid.
