This is the hollow rivit 69ish style cap..it has a fiber gasket under the rivit..i havent tried to pull it off..what you see is what it is..i used white vinegar to soak it for a day and thats it..not perfect..but not perfect price either...never sand blasted either...

needs rebuilt..the brass is cracked, and the little brass thing fell off today..but the cap is real decent..just a touch of light pitting at the two arrow..see pics...make sure its good enough for you..id use it if i didnt have an NOS one for my car..thats for sure...common to have light pitting all over the top

the stamps are nice and crisp, deep and easy to read.,,,needs rebuilt/restored..but a great start
