Re: clutches

not slipping just started to vibrate in first and second at higher RPM's. Would not go into second at a 6,000 rpm shift. I guess it is time for a new clutch set-up.

Pretty happy with the Ram PowerGrip in my Chevelle.

I have a center force dual friction in my Chevelle. I like it and it has a soft pedal.

I have used LUK clutch kits in numerous applications over the past 20 years with out any problems at all. They make a great clutch package, are in-expensive, have nice soft pedal like stock, with no chatter. You just have to make sure the flywheel is machined or checked for flatness & being true prior to installation.

LUK Clutches won't come apart if you rev em up a few times a year? I heard they were easy to to use.
