1969 Chevelle coil springs help
I have a 1969 chevelle SS survivor car and need to replace the coil springs front and back because they are sagged and leaning, it came with standard springs (still have the tags on them). I would like to bring it back to it's normal stance. I was thinking of going with Eaton springs of detroit heavy duty but not sure if it would sit right . My car is 350hp, auto, NO a/c, smog, NO rear sway bar and stock rims and tires. To me stance is everything.
Let me know you opinions or experiences you have. Thanks Dennis |
Re: 1969 Chevelle coil springs help
I put new rear springs in mine many moons ago thinking the back was too low. Wrong.
Tossed them and wish I had them back. I shared my experience, you share some pictures, deal? Ryan I can post what I feel is the perfect 69 stance......Chevelle. The back ground doesn't hurt either. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/pics...6-img_3578.jpg |

<span style="font-size: 11pt">Are their other 69 Chevelle owners who could share their spring height experiences with Denns? I am sure this young fella would appreciate it! Thanks </span>

Re: 1969 Chevelle coil springs help
Dennis,
If you can read the tags on the original springs, that would help figure out a comparable replacement. I have used CS 5380's on fronts before and CS 6319's on the back with good success. Phil Woj |
