Head light rest

I would like to clean up the face of a set of T3 sealed beam bulbs. Anyone have any suggestions? I am thinkig a fine auto polish should do the job. They are a good set of bulbs so I would rather have a tried and true method if anyone has any suggestions. Thank you.

Thank you. 0000 Steel Wool and Windex worked great. I read up on Cerium oxide and will finish up with that as soon as I buy some. Thanks again

Be careful -- much like polishing a windshield to remove wiper blade tracks ...

Exactly like polishing a windshield.
Practice on a piece of spare glass.

Thanks for the help, the headlights look good. Only problem is that of my 4 headlights that were "tested and working" only one actually works. I think I am going to give up trying to get original bulbs that work. Does anyone know if the repro T3's look close enough to the originals? Thanks again for the help.
