Nice find. Still remember "<span style="font-style: italic">Young Marve Minneman Chevylands</span>" radio jingle. Our family bought a Catalina from Howard Pontiac (same page). Thanks!

Very cool! I love old car dealer ads. Check out some of the prices in the smaller ads. Chevyland had some neat cars and it appears like they really wanted to get rid of them!!!

Re: Yenko Chevelle and Nova vintage newspaper ad
I just had a brainstorm (maybe there already is one and I am not aware of it)----how about a thread devoted to old car ads???? It sure would be cool to see 'em! I have one from "City Olds" in Baltimore, Maryland announcing the 1965 442s. The ad has all the salespeople and managers listed and a little picture of each. My dad was a sales manager there at the time, and in the ad, the managers picture was a little bigger. I will try to scan it and post here---emphasis on "try".

I love reading those old ads. Every car in that ad uses performance and mechanical options as highlights for the car. Today all you read about is MP3, heated/cooled seats, back up cameras, etc. I was born way too late.
