68 LeMans Part Question

I have to assume this is an Amp for the "Verbra-phonic" system?? Came from under/behind the glove box insert.

Thanks Much!

Re: 68 LeMans Part Question

I've seen a few of those in my 68-72 Pontiac A body days. If you had a mono AM/FM or AM only it was usually just the radio in the dash. There was a single unit AM/FM like the mono and a 2 pieces (in-dash and over glove box) unit, which I believe was called 'Multi-plex'. I don't see a cable that connects the 2 stereo units together so maybe Verba-Phonic unit? I never had one of those though, but I would think there would be some way to connect the radio to that second unit and then connect to the speaker/s. Might be worth a google.

It is indeed an Amp for the Verba-Phonic System. Here's the Guide.
