69 chevelle big block fan shroud part number ?
 

Can any of the 69 chevelle guys tell me what the correct part number is for a 69 ss 396 chevelle fan shroud? I have one that ends with 917 and have the chance to buy one that ends in 914 very cheap. Im pretty sure the original shroud ends in one of these numbers. Just need to know which one I need. Thanks

The original would end in 165.
The later versions are 626914.

Thanks alot guys ! Got a guy around the corner from me thats got an original 914 fan shroud in awesome shape for $20.00. Gonna grab it for sure.

That would be just my luck. I bought a set of original very good driver quality wheel well moldings from him today for $25.00.

Picked up that fan shroud today, however the part number appears to be one number off from what I was told it should be. What do u guys think is this correct for a 69 ss 396 chevelle.

It looks correct, but the part number for an original 69 chevelle BB fan shroud is 3938165. Newer ones which yours might be have a different number and I don't know it off hand.

The #1914 is the 3rd and the last design intended for the 1969-1970 big block Chevelle,and is currently the one that's being reproduced today.
It's also really meant for a 4 core rad.
The 1st design 1969-1970 BB 3 core shroud,#3938165 is different &amp; has never been reproduced and is hard to find.
The #1914 will fit the '69 chevelle BB no problem,but technically was not possible &amp; released way after the last '69 chevelle rolled off the assembly line.
