1970 300hp with 11" clutch?
Folks,
I bought a neat 70 Malibu with its original 300hp 350 and Muncie. What is odd is it has a 621 bellhousing with an 11" clutch. Drivetrain looks absolutely untouched and original. Could this have been ordered from the factory? Thanks, Tony |

100% Factory. I had a 1970 Malibu about 10 years ago. Untouched 100% original 350-300hp, bench seat, Muncie 4 speed, 3.31 open 12 bolt, power discs, tach dash, am radio with manual steering. Car had a 621 with 11" clutch.
Hope this helps. |

Thanks Matt! My car has the same options as yours plus a stereo and remote mirror.

What colors the interior? A local guy years ago had a black/white bench seat interior 70 Malibu original 4 speed car with aluminum slots and ladder bars(I'm not saying that it's your car, as the guys got junked). I was never much for a white int, but that car has stuck with me all these years as one that was unique and stood apart from the norm at the time. One I would build.

Right, black vinyl bench. I should order the GM Canada docs.

Got the Canada docs. Does this mean it was ordered without a radio?
