Tri City plating does a great job. There's a place here in Cleveland that also does great work:

Custom Chrome & Polishing at 9911 Elk Ave, Cleveland, OH. Call them at (216) 268-2065.

If you have deep pockets, Custom Chrome plating in Grafton Ohio does excellent work as well.

I have heard that Advanced Plating block sands their bumpers flat to get rid of the wavyness. I have not tried them yet though.

Re: chrome plating

I had Kaystone in Brainerd, MN rechrome my bumpers, and they did a superb job. My cores were far from perfect, with dents and rusty spots, but you'd never know they were there now(from the front side anyway.)
They straightened and chromed them, around $800 for the pair i think. See the following thread i posted at SNS for pics.

Tri-city did my bumpers and they did a great job and their prices are reasonable.

I send everything to tri- city plating & they were so nice last time I sent them a couple bumpers & some pot metal parts which they don't do , but they brought it to a local shop close to them & sent it all back for me in a very timely manner . Great to deal with & the pricing is reasonable, 2 thumbs up.
