70 Z/28 or Deuce LT1 Short Block 4 Speed CTB Code
This is a 1970 LT-1 shortblock engine. This engine was pulled from a wrecked 1970 Z/28 in the early 70's with about 30K miles on it. At that time, it was taken down to a shortblock, had a bunch of Day 2 parts put on it, and was put in a 55 Chevy. That is as far as the owner got. It sat in the 55 Chevy until last month.
I tore down the shortblock and took it to the local machine shop to be checked over. It is still standard bore and has no cracks. The crank is STD/STD and still has all the paint marks, etc. The original pistons and pink rods are included as well. The piston pins are frozen and will need to be freed somehow. $2500 for this all standard shortblock Jason |

Nice yellow crayon markings on the sides of the block, very typical.
