I have a dealer invoice for a 1971 vega. The trade in car is listed as a white 1969 Trans Am vin 223379N105257. If this car is still around I can give current owner the original owners name and address from 1971.

I know there was alot of good drugs going around in 71 but i cant imagine being high enough to trade a 69 trans am in on a vega

The orgnal owner of my 72 Formula did it the other way around, trading in a Vega on the Formula.

You could literally find thousands of examples like this. In the late 70's, these cars were gas guzzlers, required premium fuel, and most of them were traded in for a fuel efficient compact or a non-performance car.
