1965 396-425HP corvette block casting number 3855962 dated D-2-5 with front pad stamped T0527IF 5119689. The block is standard bore and will remain standard and has been cleaned and magged. 6223 steel standard crankshaft with a new set of clevitte bearings, dimple rods and 8 inch timing cover $5000. Can ship if you cannot pick up. This is 1 of 2157 built in 1965 only. 330-770-2517

dennis, that 5 is probably an S for corvette. good luck with the sale. would be nice to reunite it with the car.

Buyer is dragging his feet so I am putting this engine back up for sale. I have picked up a set of stock 3856208 heads both dated C-26-5 that are cleaned and magged for another $2500.
