ZL-1 #62 Motor is on eBay

Re: ZL-1 #62 Motor is on eBay
So, just out of curiosity, is there some reason the car and engine were not reunited?

Re: ZL-1 #62 Motor is on eBay
$150,000 is a lot of money for a car that rust starting to show on some of the hardware and has evidence of oil sprayed all over the exhaust from a pinion seal leak.

I think it's ''buyer beware''on this car.If I had $150K to spend there are a lot nicer and original cars for sale.Might get 2.

Re: ZL-1 #62 Motor is on eBay
The eBay ad states "There are just three 1969 ZL1 Camaros in existence that are still fitted with their original engines and to see one would be almost like spotting a unicorn". Is that a false statement or what???

Re: ZL-1 #62 Motor is on eBay
Totally false, Unicorns do not exist!

Re: ZL-1 #62 Motor is on eBay
I believe this car has been discussed before. The original ad stated that the ZL1 engine made it a ZL1.

Re: ZL-1 #62 Motor is on eBay
sad situation, but overpriced for what it is.

Re: ZL-1 #62 Motor is on eBay
I agree. Sad situation. But still, what is the story on why engine #62 did not get reunited with car #62?
