What to do in LA?
 

Hi Gang,

I am going to be in LA for a week in late Sept on business and was wondering what car type things there are to do?
Any shows, meets, Cars-and-Coffee type events happening? I will be in town through the weekend, staying within close proximity of LAX. If anyone wants to meet, let me know!

If you are into music, check out <span style="font-style: italic"><span style="font-weight: bold">Amoeba Music </span></span>on Sunset. Huge and way cool. New &amp; Vintage music in all forms - neat old posters too. Just around the corner from there is <span style="font-style: italic"><span style="font-weight: bold">Roscoe's Chicken &amp; Waffles</span></span> - oh my goodness is it yummy [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/drool.gif[/img] (who'd ever thunk those two foods would go together so well [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/dunno.gif[/img]! Dan-

When we where there picking up the 409 we were able to make it to the Peterson Museum - not too far from LAX.

We only had the afternoon so did not do much else - but did make it up to Santa Monica pier for dinner which was pretty nice too.

Dan,in Huntington Beach,Donut Derlics at Magnoila and Adams sat AM.Only problem is stupid early,6 AM till about 8 AM.Has been a tradition for more than 25 years.Tom

Bob's Big Boy in Toluca Lake (Burbank) for the Friday night cruise night. Leno shows up from time to time. Great venue. Maybe check out a few hot rod shops: SoCal Speed Shop does a nice tour, Chip Foose etc

Ohhhh I'll be wide awake... already confirmed with the LA locations of my gym for early morning opening hours LOL...

If I was going to be home, I'd bust the Caprice out for ya.
