I don't recall seeing them in any 80's magazines. Saw them on the sreet in the mid 90's.

If the snubbers are original they are of later vintage.

I'm pretty sure that they still make them. They really are more of a show car/street machine/cosmetic item to give the look of slapper bars and I've NEVER seen a fast GM A-body with a set of them installed.

Agree. I can't imagine they actually "do" anything productive since on an A body the axle windup is controlled by the 4 link rear suspension. K |

These exact same bars were on Mark P's 70 LS6 when it arrived for a restoration.
