Calling Mid year Corvette guys
OK, is this a real Corvette body that has been modified, or a repro body on a real chassis?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/?cmd=...K%3AMEWAX%3AIT I have it on good authority that I am a bit of a dumbass (can I say that on this sight, as long as I am referring to myself?) on midyear Corvettes. Something besides the molded in headlights doesn't look quite right, but I can't figure it out. |
Re: Calling Mid year Corvette guys
Hi Lynn - Looks to be a real body that was just heavily modified. Please tell me you're not considering this car! You will need a significant amount of $ to return it to stock or even turn it into a restomod and the bottom line is that its just a '64 Corvette. Start off with something cleaner and more original and spend a bit more money initially on the purchase.

Lynn,
If your looking to put alot more money into this car than it will ever be worth than go for it!!! If not stay away. In todays day in age a midyear vette for less than 30K usually just means problems. I would put more money into your initial investment and you will end up saving money in the end. |
