Neat. Only thing missing for me is a picture of the car just before restoration.

Same one that has been on e-bay and discussed here a few times isn't it?

I still can't understand why the original miles matters when a car has had a full restoration.

Re: anyone?

I've driven from the original dealership down to the Philly street race scene and out to the power plant. Heck, I've probably put 2500 miles just running the street race scene one month in the summer. I can't understand how anyone could believe that the miles on the odometer were an accurate reflection the life his car led.

Is it plausible that a fellow who plans on street racing might take an extra measure like disconnecting the speedo to make sure his warranty run out by time and not milage? I'm sure it was a very rare thing to do back then
