Maco Lettering

Does anyone recognize the lettering that was used here? We think it might have come from an eary Dodge Monaco. Any help would be appreciated!

Or does anyone have a recommendation on a good company that could replicate this style lettering?

I just checked the 68 Brochure I had and the lettering did not match 1968 for the Dodge Monaco, could they be El Camino letters?

the letters above look like the script used on the first two Maco's (w/blue fish scale paint) delivered in 1974? maybe that helps.

Found it! Comes from a 1968 Mercury Montclair. Does anyone know of a vintage parts store, junk yard, etc. that might have one of these emblems? Or does anyone have a Montclair that would let us borrow the emblem temporarily so we can make a mold?

It might appear that Bruce is being a nice guy ( darn it, he <span style="text-decoration: underline"><span style="font-style: italic">really</span></span> is a nice guy - but that is beside the point). He is just looking for an excuse to head out to our wonderful junk yards with his buddy Rick and frolic about all of the vintage wrecks and take really cool photos!!!!!!!!!!!! There's definitely a 68 Montclair rusting quietly, waiting to give up its letters. Don't give up. Try a wanted ad at FordFE.com or one of the Mercury sites.

Great detective work, looks like the Colony Park wagon used the same font although on a script line.

Try one of the Mercury Club sites, they usually go by the Handle of Big M

Something like this? This is a 67 model.

That is exactly it! Joel cut the letters up by hand to spell &quot;MACO&quot;. Is anyone a member on one of the Ford/Mercury sites that could assist?
