old school 502 almost ready to run
 

Curtiss OX-5 almost ready to run on engine stand. Still working on a few water leaks, etc. 502 ci water cooled V8. 1918 vintage.

finally got all the water leaks repaired and ran the engine. It took alot of choke and pulling on the prop but she finally started. We plan to run it about 10 hours total time to get the rings start to seat before putting in the airplane.
