67/68 Camaro NOS Door skin ID help !!!!
 

I bought a bunch of 67 Camaro stuff from a local guy who never finished the project .Car was long gone ..Included was a pair of NOS door skins (The factory AM/FM and High HP Tach will be for sale soon )..

The pass side still has the gm sticker easy to id as 67 but the driver side gm sticker was mostly missing i taped what i could find back together ...Putting them side by side i can see the are not the same on the inside top edge ..Checking on line driver side looks to be 68 . Do 67-68 interchange ? outside skin looks the same . Did the 68 supercede 67 part #? Will it work on a 67 or 68 ? ..They are going to Carlisle this week for sale just want to make sure i rep them correctly ..(only fitting they go to back carlisle that were the guy said he bought them from D+R about 13 + years ago )

I have never tried interchanging the years myself so cannot say on that part but through at least 1973 67/68 were two distinctively different part numbers as show below-

Part numbers as of 1969-
7645894 RH 7645895 LH 1967/ALL
7742294 RH 7742295 LH 1968/ALL
8723787 RH 8723788 LH 1969/ALl

Thanks my early part book show two numbers also. Didn't know if it was replaced latter in 70s or 80s.The one skin does have a piece of masking tape with 68 # hand written .Must have been added when sticker was damaged. Thanks again.
