'70 L34 Nova SS: Master Cylinder

A fellow called me tonight, referred by a friend, asking what 2 letter stamp was on my Deuce Nova's MC. It is "UI" with a cast # of 6470409. Would this be the same for a BB Nova? He is putting his BB Nova back together now. Forest Green . Thanks!

P.S. For bonus points, what's the part # for the intake manifold?

Sam...the intake is the low-rise cast iron version..this was a new part for the 70 model year. It was used on all the low horse bigblocks with QJ carbs. #3955287

As for the master cylinder...I don't think there was any difference between a small block disc brake system and a BB one. I would have to check one of the cars to be sure...perhaps others have the info handy. Brake booster would be a 9204...

My original 70 L34 MC has a cast #409 with a UI or UT,looks more like a (T).Booster is 9204.

Thanks for the info fellas. I will scrutinize my stamp to confirm "UI" next chance I get.
