Original take off, unrestored 1965 dated 3310 Z16
This is an original unrestored 1965 3310 Holley believed to have been taken off an original Z16 Chevelle very early in it’s life. The carb is in prestine condition with only minor dust and very slight fading, slightly noticeable mounting marks on the base plate and two holes drilled in the air horn. The steel hardware is in excellent shape as well as the plating and visible are very faint original ink stampings. This is as close to NOS as you will find. GM Part number and codes are both stamped on the air horn as is the dated 551 or 1st week of May 1965. It is original and NOT restamped and has all the correct early 3310 parts including the base plate, correct coded metering blocks, correct early 1965 only main body casting and the super hard to find 9/16 brass inlet nuts are still on the carb with absolutely no rounded edges. The carb was checked over and verified by Holley expert Eric Jackson of Vintage Musclecar Parts, our resident Holley restorer. This carb can be installed as is, disassembled, regasketed and cleaned or you can work with Eric and have it restored to as new including repairing the air horn holes for a nominal charge and it will be concours correct.
In the last 4 years I have only seen two of these authentic 3310’s sell, one was a core. Both went for over $3500 which is what I am asking for it and it needs nothing. Please PM or email me with any questions |
