Re: Today's Barnfind 964 C4S widebody
It would make an AWESOME PCA track car or the like, however I believe the best bet is just to sell it as is...
I looked at the car for a friend in order to ensure he didn't make an EXPENSIVE mistake... READ... to talk the guy out of purchasing it... lol he's in his late 20's and has no idea what it takes to maintain a C4 as a driver. Typical stereo hack job.... Front seats are excellent rear jump bottoms missing due to (formerly installed) isobaric box with 12's. Sitting for 3 years has exhaust, springs, carbon fiber air intake, new single mass flywheel, wheels. |

Love the car! Why the sound system? Even the door panels are hacked on, Thing looks like it never saw a shop vac.... Nobody can/could ever talk me outta buying stuff either!

Man, haven't kept up with Porsche prices in a long time, but that sounds like a steal.

Re: Today's Barnfind 964 C4S widebody
No air cooled Porsche should be a big deal to maintain as a driver ... the problem is that when those cars sit for extended periods of time the seals shrink up and then the motor leaks like a sieve when you start them back up because the block is a two piece engine case .
Too bad it was not a turbo car... that is the first year of the 3.6 turbo motor and is very collectible |
